SEO Toolbox
Fortunately for us, there are a lot of people out there working hard to make our lives easier. In the tangible world, we have little devices and appliances that make every day life easier. In internet land, there are all sorts of programs and applications that make our jobs online easier. Tools for searching, analysis, tracking, generating, statistics, slicing and dicing, and how to make a cake. Well, maybe not so much on the making of a cake, but I am sure someone is working on it! The bottom line is, all of these tools assist us in what we do, and having them in a handy list can be quite helpful.
So, here we go, a listing and brief description of what each of them do.

- Twellow, The Twitter Yellow Pages – Just like it says. It’s a handy site for finding just about any tweeter with similar interests and location.
- WolframAlpha (coming soon) – A new answer engine, similar to Google.
- Cash Keywords – This toolbar will help you search and fine keywords that will help you make money.
- Wordtracker (coming soon) – A more accurate keyword tracking tool. Lets you track keywords by “frequency, competitiveness and commerciality”.
- FairShare – Find out where your content is ending up on the internet, and if it’s okay.
- Sitemap Generator – Create a sitemap to help inform search engines of changes.
- SubmitterBot – Submit to a multitude of directories with ease.
- BuzzStream – Helps build inbound links (backlinks) and manage your relationship building with social networks.
- Backlink Anchor Text Analyzer, powered by Linkscape – Find out what kind of anchor text is being used for your links.
- ResizePictures – Don’t have software to resize your pictures? Keep your images smaller by submitting you image(s) to this site and it will resize it for you.
- Splicd – Allows you to isolate a specific piece of a YouTube video, so viewers only see the portion you want them to.
- InterSquash – As discussed in last week’s article, InterSquash is for condensing your website to make it viewable via a mobile device.
- Wipee List – Helps you keep organized by creating a todo list.
- WebReader – Make your website stand out from others with this tool. With just a click of a button, it will speak your content aloud!
