Google Improves Related Searches With Images
All of us live in a visual world where everything associated with a specific term, name, or sound is paired with a visual image. The search giant Google understands this premise and is always making improvements to the Google Image Search section of their search engine. Google recently made some cosmetic changes to their image search engine that are elaborated on in this mySEOblog post. As many of us know, when Google releases, finishes, or updates a project, it is never fully finished, but always altered in the future to give users a better experience with their product.
Recently, Google updated their image search engine again by adding new features to its “Related Searches” section. The “Related Searches” section has always been visible within the image search results, suggesting alternative ideas for the search query that you entered; however, it has been improved so that you can visually see the related search suggestion that Google provides.
Now, when users hover their mouse/cursor over a specific related search suggestion, Google will present the user with 3-5 images, previewing the search suggestion in question. This helps the user decide which image search result suggestion they would like to choose, rather than having to click and view each one individually in a page setting. Users can also click on the individual images selected by the related search results.
